INDIE UNICORN'S THIRD FLEA @ CHUA CHU KANG COMMUNITY CENTRE

One word to describe our third and last flea for 2013: INTERESTING.

Yes, we met loads of interesting people at this flea and totally felt the brimming kampung/community spirit (with no intended reference to Mcdonald's Kampung Chicken burger).

<Henna Montana> made an appearance during the first half of the flea!

Even a 19 year old cat visited our little booth! It's 19 years old in human age...which is about 80+ years old in feline age! #seniorcitizen

We attract the young and the old ;D

Talk about being entrepreneurial from a young age...the booth beside ours on the right is managed solely by 8 girls throughout the entire flea duration...with an average age of probably 10 years old? Kids are so smart these days. The booth beside ours on the left is managed by a malay couple who sell fragrances and they were very friendly as well! #makingfriendsleftandright

Andddddddd...we also have some overly-helpful kids who insist on helping us to pack up after the flea #verycute

The weather didn't co-operate on Saturday...rain fell and even the snails came out to play. The weather did make the ground damp BUT! It definitely didn't dampen our spirits...thanks to the people who bought from INDIE UNICORN & CRAFT ON!

So here's what went down on Saturday...

Our henna artist finally makes her first appearance!

Our second flea is confirmed and we'll be appearing tomorrow at CHIJMES City Hall 1700-2300 PM...Yes, it is an evening flea, so come by if you're free~

INDIE UNICORN'S FIRST FLEA

A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO VISITED INDIE UNICORN AT OUR FIRST EVER FLEA AT JCUBE LEVEL 5 YESTERDAY!

It was amazing and fun meeting all of you who share the same taste in fashion as us. Here's some photos to relive the madness that happened yesterday. We felt that it was pretty crazy.

 Setting up out beautiful & one of a kind booth...we were the first to reach and register by the way ;D #kiasu

Our one of a kind booth...bet everyone could see our neon mini umbrella from ANYWHERE within the flea compound

We really barely had time to eat a proper meal...but it was definitely worth it because of all our lovely customers

Did anyone spot the cameo appearance of 'Bali Treasures' within our booth? Only the most powerful eyes can see it (It was underneath the clothes rack, beside the shoes)..and yes, somebody did buy these cat souvenirs brought back straight from Bali.

Overall, the whole process from preparing to setting up to operating at the flea booth was extremely tiring to the point that when the flea ended, everyone had dinner, went home and crashed out on our beds immediately after bathing.

Yes, we didn't even count our takings for the day and haven't even done so this morning (we'll get to it later) because the most important thing to us is...

Bringing awesome stuff to you that y'all will LOVE and seeing the smiles on all of your faces

It's true.
